Review: All This Mayhem

All This Mayhem is a documentary unforgiving to its subjects. They’re sympathetic only to an extent and not drawn out to be particularly likeable, a pair of talented, working class Australian brothers descending upon the American skateboarding scene and getting caught up into a life of drugs and madness. It’s an uninviting world of brass and extreme personalities, naturally kindled by its fearless sport. Told mainly through home video,  All This Mayhem is an alarming, gripping tale, cautioning
against self destruction. The whole story feels ominous, leaving behind a wreck of inevitable waste.

All This Mayhem is out now in the UK. Running time 104 mins. Certificate 15 (UK).is an alarming, gripping
